MD-450-VG Validatable Gas-Flush Sealer

The MD-450-VG sealer is designed for vacuum and/or vacuum flush processes that require validatable control. This sealer incorporates a microprocessor that monitors and manages key sealing parameters in order to engender repeatable seals.

This dual-nozzle stainless steel sealer is ideal for packaging devices that may be adversely affected by moisture or oxygen within the pouch atmosphere. This sealer is available in a 450mm width as well as a 630mm.

This unit works with most inert gases, such as Argon or Nitrogen. The sealer operates pneumatically with supplied factory air. This sealer operates without generating any particulates that may compromise air quality in a critical environment cleanroom.

The electronic controller allows quality teams to set four operational functions in order to develop a packaging scheme to create the highest quality seal and vacuumed environment.

You can digitally control sealing temperature, sealing time (dwell), release temperature, as well as control gas, dwell and vacuum dwell. This precise adjustability allows critical device packagers to create repeatable results each and every seal.

These units are calibratable and designed with fewest possible parts in order to thwart downtimes.

Handling

  • The device is connected up to an external compressed air supply.
  • The bag containing the product is placed between the sealing bars and over the vacuum nozzles.
  • The foot pedal is pressed, the sealing bars close and the cycle is automatically activated.
  • After the last action has been carried out, the sealing bars open and a new bag can be placed between the bars.
