Each sealer ships with a robust parts kit, including glass cloth and heating elements in order to keep the CP series operating at peak performance. These sealers have been utilized in a variety of different packaging venues, such as the food industry, as well as medical and electronics industries. The CW-10 is a constant heat clamshell sealer. This clamshell sealer is configured with a rippled heat platen in order to maximize the crimping effect onto the clamshell. The CW-10 can be used on a variety of light, thermal-formed clamshells or trays and the unit utilizes a dual-heat function to match the clamshell you're sealing. This rugged unit is a good choice in a production scenario where there is light throughput. For high-throughput sealing of flat-flanged thermal-formed trays, you may also wish to look at our FA series sealer that can be configured in a dual heating element, which allows operators to seal heavy PET trays and would be a good choice for a production scenario.
