VIU Calibrate

Introducing Viú™ Calibration. Viu is a powerful, quick and intuitive program for grabbing data from an ever-growing list of devices such as thermometers, multimeters, packaging machines and force gauges.

Viu offers advanced, yet easy-to-use reporting functions to help present data in a way that is clear and attractive. You can specify any number of user-editable or automatically data-updated fields.

With a graph that color, and datapoint shape-codes data, along with optional peak and trough highliting, Viu will make your data easier to read and understand than ever, making the task of calibration and machine maintenance quicker and less error-prone than ever before.

Create your own customized forms, to automatically add data to calibration printouts and reports. A simple, clean interface is all that stands between you and advanced, yet intuitive, reporting capabilities. Easily integrate existing pdf data into reports as needed to meet any regulatory or corporate reporting guidelines.

First page of our printout, complete with custom form data and color-coded data graph. Graphs use colors and different data point shapes to denote different channels in multi-channel devices, such as the Agilent dataloggers, Fluke dataloggers as well as other supported devices.

Running on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, VIU Calibrate will be there for you whatever platform choices you make in the future. VIU can export data to Microsoft® Excel (both Office 2007 xml and older supported) or Open Document Spreadsheet formats, making both compatibility and the extensibility of xml available to you.

Full printout of captured data. Units can be set to dynamically convert to your preferred settings and numbers dynamically appear in the most consise format between engineering and standard notation. Full data printout or summary statistical output are available to custom forms.

The Incredible Growing VIU

A license to VIU Calibrate, which is free with purchase of medical pouch sealer or VIU system (VIU2 or PTT-100V), entitles you to free updates. These updates aren't mere bugfixes, but also new features and feature enhancements each designed to make your life easier and expand possibilities. Among our planned enhacements for the near future are tools to automate your process, presenting lab technicians with your pre-scripted instructions to assure tasks are consistently and accurately performed to spec. Combine this with our existing ability to customize reporting and printouts and you have a handy tool to validate and automate your processes.

In addition to regular updates and improvements from us, the software also hosts plugins, allowing end-users with in-house our out-sourced development staff (you can even hire us - please contact us for details) to add capabilities to VIU Calibrate - bringing its reporting and automation features to your datalogging device. Plugins can be made in C++ for more flexibility and performance or in a premium scripting language - your choice of Python or Ruby - for rapid development. The interface can be hand-coded (using Nokia's QT) or made in XUL, meaning that creating a plugin can be as simple as creating a web app.
